Abstract
dc:descriptionThesis Abstract: The Problem to be UndertakenThis poetry manuscript is about place and displacement. Focused on architecture and the environment, I will explore that many facets of a once booming, but now silent industrial town. How does a place shape a person? Change this person? Alter relationships? Fatherhood, motherhood, and childhood will play into the eeriness of displacement in this manuscript, “We Are Not Thieves.” I will experiment with form and points-of-view, to elevate this sense of wandering, confusion and loss.
