Abstract
dc:description.abstract<p>Set in the Spring and Summer of 1865, <em>Peacecroft</em> follows Otto and Anne Gottfried, a young, recently married couple who set off to begin their lives in the Mohawk Valley of New York. Little do they know, they have been caught in the middle of a thousand-year blood feud that threatens to tear apart their new home. Otto and Anne must find a way to navigate the machinations of a ruthless estate agent, a half-mad soldier just returned from the war, and the harsh world around them. To survive they must decide on the kind of life they want to live, and if the price of destiny is too high.</p>
