This creative thesis is a short story collection that contains six stories that explore the five stages of grief through the Kü;bler-Ross model (denial and isolation, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance). The first story explores the sense of loss and the following five stories arch the five stages, exhibiting the struggling realities of grief through fiction. Each story focuses on the emotional journey of one stage, and yet, can be read individually as a short story in the field of trauma writing. The purpose of this thesis is to highlight the importance of trauma writing and to explore the impact of grief and the reactions resulting from various traumas.
