The Vascular Flora of Montauk State Park, Dent County, Missouri

Abstract

A floristic survey of the wild vascular plants of Montauk State Park, Dent County, Missouri was made from April 1974 to June 1975. An annotated list of 625 taxa encompassing 100 families and 180 Dent County records is included. Each taxon is discussed in relation to seven plant communities. A discussion of the topography, geology, soils, climate, and six rare taxa encountered in the study is included.
