A Creative Project of a Video Production of an Annual Report

Could a company's annual report done on video tape be entertaining yet still contain the financial data required by the Securities and Exchange Commission for printed annual reports? In an attempt to determine this, Congressional Records, periodicals, books, and previously attempted video annual reports were consulted. Scientific research methodology was used in the actual making of the video project. The principal result of the project was an entertaining video annual report for Birdview Satellite Communications, Inc. that contained the SEC required financial statements and Management's Discussion and Analysis of Financial Condition and Results of Operations. In summary, by combining interviews with company departmental heads, required financial data, shots of the manufacturing process, accompanied by a music track, the video annual report was both informative and enjoyable for the viewer.
