Abstract
dc:description.abstractA seemingly easy task for some, opening doors can cause frustration or pain for many people, due to difficulty spinning or gripping the handle. While technology does exist to make door handles more accessible or easy to use, there is no option that is low cost, quick easy to install, and will completely take away the need to grip or twist. This project focused on designing a method of unlatching doorknobs and handles that does not obstruct or change the pre-existing hardware of the door, can be easily installed and removed, and is compatible with most interior door handles.
