A study of the structure and performance of five leading companies in Malta

The companies studied in this dissertation represent different sectors of Maltese manufacturing industry. The idea behind the dissertation is to present an overall view of industry in Malta by concentrating upon a few of the larger and more important companies which, because of their size and other characteristics tend to dominate Maltese industry. At the same time, it is hoped to show the extent of Malta's dependence on a handful of firms and the types of companies that they are. A corresponding and integral part of the discussion is the future prospects of these firms.
