dc:description.abstractReactions of highly hindered phosphorus (III) esters derived from 2,2,2-triphenylethanol, 2,2-diethylbutan-1-o1, and norbornan -1-o1 with electrophilic reagents, in particular, α-haloketones were studied by P and pH spectroscopy.
