Abstract
dc:descriptionIN THE PRESENT STUDY AN EXPLANATION OF THE MOLECULAR AND ELECTRONIC STRUCTURE ALONG WITH A VERIFICATION OF THE SPIN EXCHANGE PHENOMENA, OCCURING IN TEN NEW BIMETALLIC CU(II), BRIDGED BY PHTHALIC, L AS TERMINAL LIGANDS, OF THE GENERAL FORMULA CU2(M-PHTAHA)L2CC104)2, WAS ATTEMPTED. THE COMPLEXES WERE CHARACTERIZED BYELEMENTAL ANALYSIS, MAGNETIC SUSCEPTIBILITY MEASUREMENTS A SPECTROSCOPIC METHODS (IR, UV-VIS, AND EPR); THE SPIN EXCHANGE PHENOMENA HAVE BEEN VERIFIED BY VARIABLE TEMPERATURE MAGNETIC SUSCEPTIBILITY DATA, AND EHMA CALCULATION. FINALLY, THE ANTINEOPLASTIC ACTIVITY OF THE TWO DIEN COMPLEXES HAS BEEN EXAMINED, AS WELL.
