Abstract
dc:description.abstract<p>"A Sylvan Convergence" is a collection of poetry and prose that seeks to explore the theme of transition and its instrumental role during the most tender and vulnerable moments in life. Woven throughout are threads of Appalachia that serve to create a sense of place and to build a foundation upon which I use to honor the past. Through the use of objectivity, character, action, sound, and silence, I elevate subtle moments into poignant memories. </p>
