Abstract
dc:description.abstract<p>While the heart of creative nonfiction is a recounting of true events, this oftentimes requires the use of informed speculation to access that truth. It is a valid method to use speculation to access an emotional truth that would not otherwise be available to the reader and writer while still producing creative nonfiction. </p>
