A Look at the Deaths of Career and Volunteer Firefighters in America: Who has the Higher Rate of Death?

<p>This study will look at whether career or volunteer firefighters are more likely to die while engaging in firefighting activities, including training. Also, it will look at the causes of death and determine the leading cause of death for both career and volunteer firefighters. This will be done through looking at the numbers of firefighter deaths reported and applying statistical analysis. Only municipal fire departments will be included in this study. </p>
