<p>The purpose of this bibliography is to present a detailed summary of the rare and unusual holdings of the American Music Research Center at Dominican College, San Rafael.</p> <p>The American Music Research Center (AMRC) was founded in 1968 by Sister Dominic Ray, O.P., and is one of three centers in the United States which have as their main purpose the preservation and dissemination of American music. The center at Dominican College has a threefold emphasis: the New England Singing School Movement, Eighteenth-century Comic Operas and California Mission Music.</p> <p>-Thesis excerpt-</p>
