Implicaciones éticas y políticas en torno al problema del sujeto en la filosofía de Michel Foucault
Abstract
dc:descriptionThe present doctoral thesis aims, through the idea of the decentralized subject, to establish a bridge between the "death of man", announced in The words and things (1966) and the "return of the subject", indicated by some in History of sexuality (1984). With this working hypothesis we defend that it is feasible to interrelate "archeology" and "governmentality" in Michel Foucault's thought. We think that it is possible to link the "social-discursive devices" and the "action devices" through the idea of the "decentralized subject". With this thesis, we try to position ourselves before the debate generated by some thinkers who find a "cancellation of the subject" in the archaeo-genealogical period of Michel Foucault's thought. Given this, we seek to generate a point of view through the "decentralized subject" that allows understanding the genealogy of the subject in its complexity. In a way that, with our approach, we distance ourselves from some interpretations that some philosophers like Jürguen Habermas and Axel Honneth have done about the "cancellation of the subject" in the work of Michel Foucault.
