The dimension of the tobacco consumption problem, considered as an important Public Health problem, has been one of the reasons which has motivated and guided us through the performance of this Doctoral Thesis. This investigation and the conclusions of the analysis are based on some main pillars, and have taken into account the prevalence of smoking within university students of Extremadura, and the knowledge, attitudes and beliefs that they have with respect to Tobacco habit.
