Tautomería y reactividad de 2-alquiltioisomünchnonas

Participation of tautomers in the mesoionic heterocycles properties has been demonstrated. For the first time, both the 2-alkylthioisomünchnones and their tiazolidinic tautomers have been isolated, characterized and used in organic synthesis. Results have been rationalized through DFT (B3LYP/6-31G*) calculations.
