The role of Oxidative Stress and Antioxidants treatment in Diabetes Mellitus

Abstract

This thesis aims are to provide the basic theoretical background about the pathophysiology of diabetes, antioxidants physiology, and the correlation between diabetes and oxidative stress. Based on this knowledge, results from experimental and clinical studies will be discussed and investigated to answer the question of whether antioxidants were effective in the treatment of diabetes and its complication.
