The Contributions Made by Teachers in Catholic Rural Schools Toward the Solution of the Rural Life Problem in Southern Minnesota

Abstract

dc:description.abstract

Almost a quarter of a century ago work was "begun on a stratum of American soil, hitherto "but scantily tilled and more often unrecognized--Catholic rural life. Since the lapse of twenty-three years, when a small group of rural-minded clergy met at St. Louis in 1923," the National Catholic Rural Life Conference has grown phenomenally until today its roots are anchored in almost every diocese of the United States.
