Abstract
dc:description.abstractThere have been many works written about the Lieder of Brahms, Schubert, et cetera. However, no one has chosen to write about the Lieder of Richard Strauss. The writer has set out to gain a more thorough knowledge of the Strauss techniques. To find possible relationships between his vocal and instrumental lines, his opera and song and to see how the German language affects or does not affect the vocal line of the Lieder.
