A Survey of the Provisions for Critical Reading Skills in Basal Readers
Abstract
dc:description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the number of critical reading skills included in six basal reading series and how many of these skills each series contained. It was also the purpose of this study to determine the grade level at which each specific skill was introduced and further how many of these skills were introduced at the grade one level.
