Social Comment as a Phase in the Development of a More Personal Expression in Oil Painting
Abstract
dc:description.abstract<p>The purpose of this study is (1) to examine the presence or social comment in painting from a historical point or view, (2) to support its validity as a theme in art, (3) to use this theme in the creation or a number or oil paintings, and (4) to develop through this means a more personal expression in painting.</p>
