The purposes of this study were: (1) to determine if portables, depending on the circumstances and needs of the school district, are a valid method of handling today's overcrowded conditions, (2) to show how supplementary classrooms were used by the University Place School District, (3) to provide a reference source for others who plan to use relocatable structures.
