A Comparative Study of the Contents of Seventh Grade Modern Mathematics Texts and Their Effect on the Transfer Student
Abstract
dc:description.abstractIt was the purpose of this study: (1) to examine the contents of the newly published modern mathematics textbooks for the seventh grade level; (2) to compare the contents of a representative selection of these texts in regard to the sequence and variety of the topics covered; and (3) to show the probability of the effect this would have on a transfer student.
