It was the purpose of this study (1) to compare the regular physical education program at Olympic Hills Elementary School, Seattle, Washington, with an experimental physical education program; (2) to compare the physical fitness of boys and girls in the fourth, fifth, and sixth grades in the same school; and (3) to study the effect of the program on the individual’s fitness level.
