The value of systems thinking in operations management : a case study
Abstract
dc:description.abstractThis thesis demonstrates the differences between the traditional reductionist approach and the systemic approach to problem solving, and is based on a case study in the manufacturing field. It explains how each approach interprets real life problem situations differently, and emphasises the superiority of systemic approach.
