Abstract
dc:description.abstractWhile a comprehensive set of laws and ethical guidelines legally protects patients and promotes their access to good quality health care, inhumane and abusive medical practices have, nevertheless, been documented internationally. A large and varied body of work documents multiple aspects of medical culture.
