Graphic Organizers in the Mathematics Classroom: Exemplar Lessons

This project was created for teacher and student use. This project looks at the benefits of graphic organizers in a math classroom including; learning a new skill, reviewing previously taught content, and breaking down challenging problems. The lessons focus on developing students to be more strategic and thoughtful problem solvers though the application of graphic organizers. Each lesson has been designed with Common Core standards in mind. The author has made recommendations for the application of each lesson.
