A memória da água e outras hipóteses para compreensão do possível mecanismo de ação dos medicamentos homeopáticos : uma revisão

This is a literature review of scientific character , composed of information from national and international scientific origin in the field of Homeopathy in order to gather a set of information based on national and international literature on some experimental models and theory of memory of water and its properties among other hypotheses about the mechanism of homeopathic medicine in order to develop a literature review. Homeopathy provides a safe practice, understands and is an integrative way the patient - disease binomial, and value aspects of individuality sick. It is based on the principle of sim ilar or law of similars and the principle of high dilutions or law of infinitesimals. Homeopathy has over 200 years of experience, based on advances in several areas of knowledge, and is moving forward on the path of science, through scientific research me thods. Led by Jacques Benveniste , using a classic experimental model of degranulation of basophils, the theme of water memory came to the fore with its positive results, according to the water theory would be able to store information about compounds that it were diluted and this fact unproven today. Various models and hypotheses have been proposed in order to explain the mechanism of action of ultra - diluted solutions in the body. Today, homeopathy is becoming more popular and many studies show its effects, triggered by ultra - diluted drugs. Many articles are being published in scientific journals using experiments with highly diluted drugs
