Desenvolvimento da cana-soca em função do efeito residual de fósforo na cana-planta.

Abstract

dc:description.abstract

Phosphorus plays a key role in the accumulation of reserves of sugarcane. The aim of this study was to evaluate the residual effect of phosphorus on the production of sugarcane ratoon. The experiment was conducted under field conditions in the experimental area belongs to UFPB / CCA. The experimental design was a randomized block in split plot with main plots represented by the residual effect of phosphorus in plant cane and sub-plots by the presence / absence of phosphorus in the stump. Were evaluated: the number of stems harvested furrow, the brix and productivity gained. The results showed that the residue of P fertilization influences the productivity of ratoon cane, and the application of 180 kg ha-1 of phosphorus in the plant-cane that provided better results in sugarcane ratoon.
