Atualização da padronização de medicamentos de um hospital oncológico e elaboração do guia farmacoterapêutico: antimicrobianos e antineoplásicos.

T he selection of medicines is a complex and multidisciplinary process that contributes to the reduction of costs for the institution, resulting in the development of the Pharmacotherapy Guide, important information tool for the multi professional team, ensu ring uniformity of pharmacotherapy and the best treatment for the patient. Objectives : Update the standardization of medicines in an Oncological Hospital, and prepare the Pharmacotherapy Guide of antimicrobial and antineoplastic classes. Method : Descriptiv e and collaborative study aiming at promoting implementation of the Pharmacotherapy Guide in an Oncologic Hospital. Results: The study showed that about 200 drugs that were used in the hospital were not present in the standardization of drugs. In addition, over 400 presentations, which were no longer used, were present in the computerized system in use in the hospital, the MV system.
