Abstract
dc:description.abstractThis monograph aims to present a study on the distribution of building materials stores in Remígio - PB. For better understanding of the topic was conducted literature, imagery, field research with observations of the place and collecting primary and secondary data. In possession of the material and with knowledge of the field it was observed that the older stores this segment are located in the central area near the Matrix, where the city originated; was also observed growth and recovery of urban area with the advent of subdivisions and housing projects, with the presence of new stores in these locations, which has implied the increase of sales of building materials. Other important issues raised relate to investments in such ventures: the housing projects are financed with funds from the Federal Government, as the new subdivisions and buildings are acquired with funds of Caixa Economica Federal, through financing, as well as people with their own resources that left the city to work in the South and Southeast and returned with capital to invest in property. Therefore, it was realized that a good management of commercial building materials, forward planning based on the needs of the population, ie the customers, it is essential, to prevent capital flight to other places, other point is important and urgent investment managers in technology, computerization and automation of shops, enables agility and control the movement of goods, with quick access to the database of all products offered.
