Análise descritiva dos livros didáticos de matemática: um estudo dos livros do sétimo ano adotados pelos professores do município de Livramento.
Abstract
dc:description.abstractThis work was developed based on the analysis of mathematics textbooks used in three public schools of Livramento city; located within the state of Parayba. We take as samples the books of the 7th year of elementary school adopted by the institutions: Maria Salome de Almeida school, Alcides Carneiro School and João Lelys School. The comparative analysis of the research is centered on the book "The Conquest of Mathematics of the authors Giovanni Jr & Ruy Jose Benedicto Castrucci, for the book to be adopted by three schools. The work includes the development of this comparative analysis, with two other books of mathematics: "Mathematics: Making a Difference" authors Bonjorno & Ayrton and "Everything is Mathematics" by Luiz Roberto Dante, because they are the books that teachers of local schools to adopt extra-query. The results of the study show that the authors follow different patterns in the organization of content and sequence and they guide the teachers to practice of using games and manipulative materials. Despite the significant variation in the amount of exercises proposed for each content, there is a concern of the authors realize that the teacher is always updated and remember that in the evaluation, not only to evaluate the numerical result, but all the development work in the classroom. Our research allows us to classify it as documentary research given the fact of working with public documents.
