O espaço físico em instituições de educação infantil: contribuições para o desenvolvimento da criança

This course conclusion work deals with the discussion of the physical spaces of the Early Childhood Education Institutions, the analysis from the perspective of the quality of these spaces. In this sense approach documents governing the infrastructure of Child Education institutions in Brazil and in our region. Our work was developed from the experience we have gained during the supervised and compulsory training in Early Childhood Education, held in a CREI in the city of João Pessoa. The main objective of this work is to understand how the physical space contributes to the integral development of children. Visits were made to two institutions of child education João Pessoa in order to observe their physical spaces and their use. The physical spaces develop the potential and stimulate new skills essential in the construction of autonomy, placing the child as agent construction of their own knowledge, since the child needs to explore the spaces to live it and interact with it.
