Formação de professores no curso de Pedagogia da UFPB sob a ótica dos graduandos

Discuss the training of teachers and their articulation with basic education has been set as a key to improve the Brazilian educational system. Thus, the present study completion course aimed to analyze the initial training degree course teachers Education Center Education offered by UFPB (campus I), from the contributions of students who are in formation and literature which confirms the analysis of the object of study. In support of this research were used theoretical contributions of researchers who discuss this topic in Brazil and the world, such as Paulo Freire, Demerval Saviani, Acacia Kuenzer, Libâneo, among others. This research was accomplished with data collected through questionnaires answered by graduate students and graduates entering the period of the night of the Pedagogy course of UFPB. The results of this study indicated that the professionals being trained to work in primary education, they enter the gym with many expectations for their education, but some end up being frustrated for various reasons, ranging from professional devaluation issues, to the difficulty of performance in the Brazilian context. Despite the evident barriers, some students are in Pedagogy the possibility of reaching new directions for education until then discredited by many.
