Motivação voluntária: um estudo sobre os fatores motivacionais para a permanência dos voluntários da Rede Feminina de Combate ao Câncer
Abstract
dc:description.abstractIn this study, is proposed a model that identified the reasons for volunteering stay in third sector organizations, non-profit or non-governmental. The venue for the research was the Rede Feminina de Combate ao Câncer (Women Against Cancer Network) - Organization aimed at the reception of patients and family members of individuals holders of cancer - this institution is based on the Hospital Napoleão Laureano, as well as a shelter. In the theoretical framework, the aim is, through the analysis of several authors, get a model of motivation for these volunteers, drawing a parallel with the traditional models of motivation, as well as observing their particularities, as authors of the area. The model used was the Cavalcante (2012), which verifies, through five motivational factors leading volunteering to stay donating their labor power in the institution. Since data collection was conducted through a questionnaire divided into two parts: General and motivational factor, the first being used to trace the volunteer profile of the institution, and the second part consists of 24 statements in which it would measure its agreement according to the affinity of this with the motive of their stay. To this end, five visits were carried out, realizing total of 30 questionnaires. Thus, to draw the volunteer profile and measuring the length of this reason by the factors: Altruism, Social Justice, Social, Intellect and Selfishness, as model Cavalcante (2012).
