Utilização de ferramentas tecnológicas no ensino de ciências contábeis: um estudo com os docentes e discentes da Universidade Federal da Paraíba

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is increasingly present in people's lives. Whether at work, with the use of integrated systems, for example, or in personal life, with the use of social networks, these are in the everyday of everyone, who becomes dependent on the technological tools to carry out their tasks, leaving everything faster and effective. The present study sought to verify which ICTs are being used by the professors of the Accounting Sciences course of the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB), campus I, are using ICT as a tool to support the teaching and learning process. It is assumed that the application of these resources by the teachers contributes to awaken the attention and interest of the students in the subjects addressed in the classroom. Regarding the methodology, the study is set out in a descriptive and exploratory, quantitative approach, where structured questionnaires were applied to the professors and final students of the course of Accounting Sciences, Federal University of Paraíba - UFPB, campus I. Based In the research instrument applied to students and teachers, it was possible to conclude that the use of information and communication technologies by teachers to facilitate and assist the teaching-learning process of the students of the UFPB accounting course, campus I, still Needs to be greatly expanded, leaving it to be desired, given that most teachers are restricted to using data-show and slide show to deliver content in the classroom.
