As respostas da União Europeia para a crise migratória do Oriente Médio e norte da África

The European Union, during its formation process, has built its own asylum system, which is related to its migratory policy. The present research seeks to understand the consequences of the migratory crisis of the 2010 decade in the European territory and the answers given by the European Union to tackle the crisis, especially the European Agenda on Migration. The Agenda has sought to harmonize the responsibilities of the member States to deal with the crisis. It has forwarded at certain points, promoting a more democratic character. However, it is clear that the agenda has found difficulties to be implemented due to different positions by the nation States. Faced with these difficulties, the European Union signed an agreement with Turkey to deal with the problem in the short term, which has not been foreseen in the Agenda.
