Organizations are living a great movement in the competitive landscape , and the people management model adopted is responsible for workers' contribution according to the reality of the organization. One of the most widely accepted models and today is the competence of management. In it are the knowledge, skills and attitudes of workers, mobilized by the organization, will you justify the position it occupies in the market. In this sense , the general objective of this study aimed to diagnose the compatibility between the skills required and existing in Merry Point company . For this, the present study was based from several authors as Dutra (2004 ) , Albuquerque and Oliveira (2001 ) Retour (2005 ) , Vergara and Davel (2001 ) , Chiavenato (2003 ) , among others. We used the literature , descriptive and exploratory research through a field of study, with a qualitative approach. Through data collection, an interview was conducted with the company administrator . It was found that some competencies need to be better worked through investment in training courses for its employees and the need to review, greater administrator 's attention to its employees.
