Abstract
dc:description.abstractThe late twentieth century represented a time of profound changes in the world economy, but also for the banking sector. Unlike the traditional profile, whose groundwork was the currency. It was necessary to modify its essential features, turning into bank-sellers. A network of charges that unbalances and influences their professional reality, as just also focusing on aspects of their personal and family life. This study aimed to understand how the a private bank managers reconcile management practice and personal life. Data collection occurred through recorded interviews with four managers in their respective residences, three women and a man, employees of an agency in the city of João Pessoa, PB. We characterize the function of the bank manager, noted the dynamism between personal and professional career, and identify the equilibrium strategies between personal and professional life performance. The way managers are charged as a result showed a series of feelings in managers who deserve more attention by both organizations. The time factor was that of a key point of the analysis and were found to reconciliation policies: the search for social support, time management and task setting.
