A importância da leitura como atividade para o desenvolvimento cognitivo do educando

This study aimed to investigate whether the reading activities have influences in the development process and cognitive learners and see what reading activities are in the research institution and hence the identification of spaces and materials available to carry out activities . The methodology used was the qualitative research, through observation and questionnaire. The institutions surveyed researched were the State Elementary School, located in Sapé, Thatcham and Municipal Elementary school of Bayeux. The observations we had the collaboration of three teachers, but only two answered the questionnaire. Four workshops design More education contributed both observations in the questionnaires. The survey was conducted in two groups being one from kindergarten one that had special education. In Special Education class we observed some students who have intellectual disabilities, and detected that the reading is done in a different way where the teacher uses sensory books to whet the act of reading, thereby notify that students with intellectual disabilities, they learn to read through the concrete material. However, also highlight how negative the difficulty of the teacher in providing assistance to all students. Our analysis was based on the record of visits in three classes, and based on the results of questionnaires conducted with both teachers and the four workshops. From the analysis of the obtained data, we found that the survey participants aware of the importance of the act of reading to the development of the teaching learning process of the learner.
