Análise financeira da expansão da UNICRED João Pessoa: impactos da mudança de público-alvo
Abstract
dc:description.abstractConstituted as a cooperative society, with the objective of providing financial services to its members staff through the lending out, taking over in cash and forward like the Credit Unions subordinate to the standards of the National Monetary Council and supervised by the Central Bank of Brazil. They have exercised an important role in contributing to the development of the country, especially in the mission of meeting the individual needs in common in a collective way, even if they are social, economic or cultural, by means of an enterprise, where all associates are owners and managed in a democratic way. This research was made in order to evaluate the financial impact generated by changing the Unicred ́s audience in João Pessoa, where until the year of 2008 only worked with health professionals and after became a credit union free admission membership in 2009. According to this, it was attempted through UNICRED - João Pessoa (PB) to survey and compare the economic and financial data between the years 2008 to 2011 analyzing the gains from adopting the model of free admission. The research is of great importance to the academy, to society and to all who have interest in expanding their knowledge of the cooperative but more specifically to those who are organized for the lending out. The procedures used to collect information and data contained in this research were through studies bibliographic and documentary analysis. The study achieved the planned goals concluding that the new model has added value and it also improved substantially its economic and financial performance.
