Estudo da influência das variáveis de síntese na morfologia e espessura da camada de nanofios de niobato de sódio suportado em nióbio

This study seeks to correlate few synthesis’ variables, of alkali hydrothermal route, to morphology and thickness of sodium niobate nanowires layer supported on niobium platelets. An experimental design was planned to evaluate temperature, alkali concentration and reactional time influence on the produced material. It was analyzed by characterization techniques, such as scanning and transmission electron microscopies, to characterize its morphology, also by X ray diffraction and electron diffraction, to identify its crystalline phases and the nanowires’ growing direction. The 1D sodium niobate layer was cut with a focused ion beam and its thickness was quantified by scanning electron microscopy images, to use for statistical analysis of the synthesis’ variables influence, chosen for this study, on the thickness of sodium niobate layer. By statistical analysis, it was observed that all chosen variables showed influence on the thickness of sodium niobate layer, and it was also observed a morphology change in the supported material in more severe conditions.
