Habitação de interesse social, representação social da moradia, apropriações de espaços e intervenções no uso: estudo de casos - Residencial Jaçanã e Residencial Xavante II em Belém, PA

On housing of social, was proved that residents are occupying collective spaces and doing some interventions that change the integrity of appearance and functionality of recent housing estate. These facts contradict the project rationality, concluding that there are subjective necessities that cannot consider these elements a priori. To find out the reasons for these attitudes, the scientific key of social representations, of Moscovici, from psicosociology was used. This theory is supported by the access to the collective unconscious of social group to reveal these unknowing necessities and to clear the consensual vision of the residence, besides making possible the ordinate empiric mass that shows points not observed before. The meaning of residence that was found is summarized in lexical class of security, with sense of effort of precious good material - the own house. The relation between architecture and residents was studied, with distinction for the dialectic use of housing and researches were done on Jaçanã Residential and Xavante II Residential, built in Belém, PA within the period of 1998 and 2000, when the residents had their opinions reported. Whatever the sense of residence showed itself response of the problem, stimulating the appropriation of spaces and its intervention, besides the procedures and the theory estimated caused the discovered of important empiric connections, that serve to support the indicative for conclusions and recommendations for new projects, as: backyard for all units; projectual flexibility, applying as option the loft model in the kitchens; space for personnel user kind; plan collective space for recreation; eliminate areas without function; prevision for more than one parking space and the necessity of complementary projects for covered garage pattern to be constructed by residents further.
