Revisão do gênero Aspidodera Railliet & Henry, 1912 (Nematoda: Heterakoidea) com novas sinonímias e chave de classificação

Aspidodera (= Ansiruptodera Skrjabin & Shikhobalova, 1947 n. syn.) is related with eight species: A. scoleciformis (Diesing, 1851) Railliet & Henry, 1912; A. subulata (Molin, 1860) Railliet & Henry, 1912; A. fasciata (Schneider, 1866) Railliet & Henry, 1913 A. binansata Raillieti & Henry, 1913 (=A. agoutiae Cameron & Reesal, 1951 n. syn.); A. raillieti Travassos, 1913 (=A. harwoodi Chandler, 1932 n. syn., Aspidodera sp. Masi Pallarés &: Vergara, 1970 n. syn., A. diaz-ungriai Masi Pallarés & Usher, 1971 n. sy n. and A. vicentei Pinto, Kahn, Fernandes, Mello, 1982 n.sy n.); A. an sirupt a Proentia, 1937; A. vazi Proença, 1937 and A. lacom beae Vicente, 1964. Parasitize Marrsupialia, Edentata and Rodent ia in the Neotropical Re9 i on. Only one spec ies occurs in the Nearctic Region. Cephal ic cordons are cons ider ed as a valid systemat ic character and a new key for the spec ies of the genus is proposed.
