Abstract
dc:description.abstractAnalyses the representation of the homosexuality in popular brazilian television programs. This study tries to understand, not judge, the choice for a shocking, sensationalist, violent, bad taste and without ethics vision when such programs approach many different themes, among them homosexuality. We also take a look the effects caused by this kind of approach. This study will be divided as follows: firstly we will trace a briefhistory of The popular TV programs trying to analyze how the structure ofthese programs is built and how they act over its participants and the mass of viewers. Secondly, we will study specifically the homosexuality issue when portrayed in these programs, making a analogy with others Free TV attractions.
