Abstract
dc:description.abstractThe main concern of this work is to develop the analysis of a movable joint mechanism that is controlled by cables with three types ofl conections between the components. A description of the structure and of the proposed conections is made, which is followed by a stability analysis of each joint. The systems of equations for the conection types studied whiéh simulates the behavior of the structure under the variation of the forces applied in the cable as well as external forces are presented. Routines for the computations and some results are included. A prototype with one type of conection was built to verify the tendencies presented by the matematical model proposed to prove its consistence.
