Considerações sobre fatores envolvidos em análises de estabilidade de estruturas de concreto assentes em maciços rochosos

This thesis intends to present the main design criteria and methods used to compute the uplift pressures acting on concrete structures with rock foundation, as well as to discuss more realistic considerations on using these techniques in designs of dams. Some piezometric informations measured in structures of operating hydroelectric plans are analysed in comparison with the uplift pressure diagrams applied in currency.
