Tanzimat'tan Cumhuriyet'e Türkiye'de il yönetimi

19'th century for Ottoman Empire was a period that metamorphisis and new arrangments were done subsequently. In this period, State entered into new stage with the announcement of the Tanzimat Emperial Edict. During 1839-1923 period, There were a lot of events which have valuable for historian. So, we have chosen Province Administration from Tanzimat to Republic as a thesis subject. Purpose of this thesis is to complete and explain the missing points in this period. Thesis consists of 3 main sections which are Tanzimat period province administration, 1864-1876 province administration, province admimstartion from II. Constitutional Monarchy to Tanzimat. Subject is analysed in detail by using archives documents, state and province official documents, newspapers printed at that period, books, researhes and investigations. The main idea of thesis is the duty and authorization of the governor of province and civil servants and the working situations and conditions of province assembly. In subsections, monetary structure and social conditions of provinces, population distribution of nations, education, schoolmate rates are analyez in detail. In addition to these subjects, with the announcment of n. Constitutional Monarchy, what kind of subjects were debated related to province administration in Meclis-i Mebusan and what kind of suggestions were presented by state admmistrators, opposing groups and foreign countries. With this thesis, a new perspective is tried to be given. 2q3
