Tożsamość, ideologia, przemoc. Centrum i peryferie we współczesnych tekstach kultury w Serbii

Abstract

Niniejsza praca poddaje analizie specyfikę współczesnej serbskiej polityki pamięci z punktu widzenia układów zależności pomiędzy władzą centralną a dwiema największymi mniejszościami etnicznymi występującymi na terenie Republiki Serbii. This dissertation analyses the singularities of contemporary Serbian politics of memory from the perspective of the dependencies between the central government and the two largest ethnic minorities living in the Republic of Serbia. Both groups live in peripheral areas of the Republic but have their spiritual (national) centres outside its borders. Therefore, this dissertation represents an attempt to define the nature of the relationship between the Serbian cultural memory and the cultural memory of the Hungarian minority living in Vojvodina and the Bosniak minority living in the Sandžak region. An analysis of these relations provided the starting point for an attempt to reconstruct an imaginary geography, i.e. to draw a map of the relations that prevail within the contemporary Serbian state. Both Vojvodina and Sandžak have been described as double peripheries, i.e. territories with two centres. Of course, Belgrade represents one of the internal centres for both, but each of these communities also has a second, external centre: Budapest for the Hungarians and Sarajevo for the Bosniaks. The timeframe of the research spans from 2001 to 2022.
