Abstract
Praca zawiera opis i analizę materiałów z post-meroickiego cmentarzyska El Haraz z Nubii Środkowej w Sudanie zdobytych dzięki własnym badaniom autora. Analiza ta jest oparta na znajomości starszych cmentarzysk jak też i na innych stanowiskach z terenów Nubii Środkowej. Dyskutowane są także różne podejścia i hipotezy dotyczące tych zagadnień. Badania cmentarzyska El Haraz rzuca nowe światło na znajomość wczesnej historii Sudanu. The work contains the description and analysis of the materials from the Post-Meroitic cemetery El Haraz in Middle Nubia (Sudan) excavated by the author of dissertation. The analysis is basing on the knowledge of earliest cemeteries as well as of Post-Meroitic sites known from the Egyptian and Sudanese Nubia. The different scientific approaches and hypothesis concerning this problems are discussed. The investigations of the Haraz cemetery throw new light on the Sudanese early history.
